Organising HSE efforts within the LNS group

Health, Security, and the Environment (HSE) is a key focus area for the LNS group, and it is high on the agenda for both owners and the group’s board of directors.

Coordinating functions

With an ever-expanding portfolio of new plants and projects, LNS believes it is very important to coordinate HSE functions in order to secure a satisfactory level of training regarding, information about, and implementation of HSE documentation, objectives, news, and challenges. This is achieved, inter alia, through a joint HSE strategy and platform of work.

HSE team

The LNS group has established an HSE team. This team comprises employees whose primary job assignment is HSE. These employees shall advise the administration on issues related to HSE. The HSE team shall have regular meetings throughout the year, where challenges connected with the HSE field are addressed, guidelines are debated, and responsibilities in the continued process are clarified.

Mandatory organisation

Furthermore, the LNS group also has the mandatory workplace environment committee and subcommittees, as well as a health and safety service, comprising a health and safety representative, a chief safety representative, and an occupational health service.
